Twitter is an odd phenomenon

May 2, 2008 · 1 Comment

OK so today is probably my most active day on Twitter to date…that is since I started actively using it.

Why do people use Twitter? I think it’s a pretty funny question because sometimes that is exactly why people sign on to Twitter.

I think I am officially addicted to this little program. Sorry followers. I must have gone overboard today.

It could just be a phase and the excitement of finding something new, but it seems like it gets addictive when people are interacting with each other. And sometimes it’s just fun to be a lurker. Every once in a while, there will be something someone says, and I think oh, yes, I do that too–that is not so weird after all.

And this isn’t anything new, really. People keep talking about it. It’s just not mainstream…is it just another networking site for bloggers?

(More on Twitter)

Feel free to comment. Do you think it will go mainstream?

The technology is simple to use, but there is an entire culture created by the people who use it. Also see Twitter is an odd phenomenon. [...]
